Founded in 1904 by three prominent Sacramento families, East Lawn has remained a non-denominational memorial park since its inception.

The park holds a wealth of California history and depicts the pride with which East Lawn has always been associated. From its early days when employees panned for gold in gravel pits on the property, to the hiring of every worker that contributed in the building of the administration buildings and mausoleum in 1926, East Lawn has always embraced a unique commitment to Sacramento and its people.

That commitment remains as strong today as it did just after the turn of the century. Innovation in services coupled with sound financial planning and professional care: that's East Lawn Memorial Park.
